A new advanced, diagnostic aid that helps orthopaedic surgeons identify the risk of periprosthetic joint infection (PJI). The Lyfstone Calprotectin test is easy to use and delivers reliable results in just 15 minutes.

Fast and easy – to assess the risk of periprosthetic joint infection, a small amount of synovial fluid is subtracted from the patient’s joint.  This test requires only 20ul and generates results in 15 minutes.  The easy sample work-up allows implementation at any stage of care, from consulting to pre-op to per-op.

Clear and reliable risk indicators – the test allows for clear and reliable categorisation of patients based on the level of calprotectin found in the synovial fluid.
