The TECRES SPACER K and VANCOGENX® SPACER KNEE preformed antibiotic loaded spacers allow patients to deambulate with partial weight bearing [4] and are clinically proven to have a prolonged antibiotic elution profile [2, 3].
TECRES SPACER K and VANCOGENX SPACER KNEE are made with antibiotic bone cement and comprises two independent articulating elements. The tibial component has a flat base on which the femoral component articulates.
TECRES SPACER K and VANCOGENX SPACER KNEE are available with gentamicin, or the synergistic combination of gentamicin and vancomycin.[1]
